Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) are a pioneering initiative dedicated to providing quality residential education and holistic development for Scheduled Tribe (ST) students in remote areas, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to excel in a competitive world.


About EMRS

Established under Article 275(1) of the Constitution, EMRS aims to empower tribal students through holistic education, state-of-the-art facilities, and a conducive learning environment. State Governments/UT Administrations are responsible for managing and expanding these schools with the Ministry’s support.
